Please PM me with your name so I can make sure we have your check. One thing about the FCU is we are pretty easy going group, so one of the things we don't do real quick is get to the bank....We let checks gather then deposit.

Ken---always the pessimst here--but what are your plans should the IBC deny your charter at Perry? Don Shafer has already said he didn't like the basic th idea the charter was built on. ----pieman

Moosetags send in your $1 and transfer your membership to the FCU then we could both be in the same unit and maybe see each other again at some future rally. I joined as an associate several months ago.

Ken J, if you do get Moosetags and his lovely bride, you will be getting two gems. They are outstanding folks.

Do you mean the more emphasis on camping and having fun vs. meetings and formalities?
That idea seems pretty popular. The FCU has already attacted about a dozen new members and about two dozen transfers. My thought is we would keep on doing what we are doing with or without the WBCCI.

Thats interesting because thats not what Don said to the folks whom I've been working with on this.

I don't know how they will be able to deny a very successful unit - we would not be this far if the intent was to turn us down - once you get provisional you are pretty much in, unless you really mess up.

Having said that, I'm well aware that we could still be turned down - I'm not going to get bogged down and get too concerned about that - the reason we are where we are is because we have demonstrated to the WBCCI how important it is to welcome new units in an effort to grow this organization.

So I could join WBCCI and be an affiliate of 4CU without it creating issues for you? I want to support the more progressive unit versus ones that just take what comes at them. Is this a problem being international (Canuck)?
