I am bumping this to the top because we need to remind folks that the NOVAfest is scheduled for the end of March, and we are coming up on the date that we will need to know how many folks are going to attend. Gary is setting up the rally with Airstream and we will need to know if we have enough for our Airstream Factory tour. Gary, was the date Feb. 17th..for the cut off?? If you intend to attend please post to the calendar rally page.

Yes we currently have the cut off date as the 17th. If I ever connect with the contact at Airstream I'm going to ask if they can live with a later date just in case we want to extend it.....

Just bumping this up! We just heard that they are expecting 5 more weeks of winter time weather before Spring. Ick! I hope the weathermen get it wrong. It would be nice if our NOVAfest rally did NOT have snow to slow us down!

I think you forgot the most important part of that...5 more weeks of SNOW! Hopefully we will get a quick melt-off before the last weekend in March. As I recall, after camping in your driveway last year in the last weekend of March, I had to drain and winterize two more times, I think! The joys of living in the northern part of the continent...

It's not going to snow for 5 more weeks. My Siberian Husky is already starting to blow out his under coat. A better indicator in my mind than any stinkin groundhog....

I hope that your dog is right! Seems like it might be more reliable/reasonable that a stupid groundhog that somebody has to dig up to come out of its hibernation mound. LOL! We are hoping that the spring weather hurries up as we are sick of the snow we have!

Our St. Bernard is also profusely shedding. Of course, she'd prefer a lot more snow and a lot more winter.

On a note actually related to the thread, WBCCI sent my membership materials this week. My application was forwarded through Dan with the other NOVA applications. I assume that means something is happening.

Oddly enough, they still have not cashed my check yet which I find more than a little annoying. I don't write that many checks anymore but I really don't like to have them sitting around uncashed for long periods of time.

My check came through on Feb. 5th. Received a copy of member directory last week. Still waiting on the membership card though. No snow here but cold. Lows of mid 20's.
