We went to the International Rally this year, our first. It's a pretty good deal for the Early "Workers".....$500 for a month's camping with hookups.

As the current president for our unit, we were "instructed" to be there on the 22nd of June. Didn't do anything relevant to the rally until the 28th. Other than visiting with some nice folks there, it was sort of boring. Probably won't go back, and definately won't go next year because of the lack of facilities (hookups).

We always enter with a caravan and arrive on the last day of Caravan parking. That's usually the day of the Unit Presidents' Dinner.

We have a great time with friends and share wonderful potluck meals. We see local sites meet new folks. If we were limited to official events only, we would quickly grow board.

We have met many friends at our 6 International Rallies. We increase out circle of friends each year.

Yes, and we get to pay even more because of the pump out "service".

In the past pump out service was always part of the rally fee. I would assume that still would be true. Prior to the change to full hookup rallies this was always provided

I understand that, but what will the rally fee be? I heard it will be more because of the need for pump out.

If you are interested, I took a few panographs at the site in Huron on our way back.
360 Panorama and also 360 Panorama. It is a cozy place, not too bad. We camped there for a few nights. My understanding is that we will have the whole place to ourselves save the stock car races and Saturday Market which are held there. I think it will be quite nice actually.

We had a Region 7 Rally at this site about 5 years ago. It served our purposes nicely. Not sure about the buildings as we only used one smaller one and worked out fine. Some shade, not much, as you can see from the pictures.
