Not sure how long it will remain on the WBCCI Forum but I just posted this tread With the hope that some of the leadership might see what is happening in their name.

As a new member I would like to suggest that all, and especially the WBCCI leadership, follow this Thread.

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f286...ain-58791.html

There are clearly reasons why membership is falling and those interested in curtailing that decline will be advised of many of the reasons

I think this is a good club, the only thing you have to worry about on a local level is the injection of the international politicking. Someone who has international aspirations and using your local unit as a launching pad for their private ambitions.

AirRaider, where is Hollywood NY?

Your First post strikes me as odd to pick this thread.

R U referring to Leo?

I always find what people post to as their first one interesting. This thread in particular is rather odd though. Maybe an IBT member has stopped lurking and is finally going to have some dialog.

but to state the fairly obvious... you have to run up through the ranks to get to the top. Well, you are supposed to at least. Sometimes someone is just inserted as the VAC did last year, but you serve in progression toward the top. So using your local unit to rise up to IBT would be exactly the way you need to go.

I have decided to not re-new my membership in the WBCCI. I see little benefit or gain for me to remain a member. I am also disgusted by the way the IBT treat ALL members...like fertilizer for their bloom at the top of the vine.

Wow! I have been away from the forums for almost a year and when I return, nothing has changed. I wish I had an answer. I do know that we have wonderful people who belong to WBCCI that put together informal camping weekends and everyone enjoys themselves without all the rules and regulations. No one has a special parking spot and everyone pitches in.
Merry Christmas & New year. God Bless
