Send a message via Skype™ to robandzoe
A quitter eh?

So, I sit here pondering on the last few days events. Frank and I were labeled as QUITTERs and that what we were doing wouldn't work.. we'd be on the outside. Well, I can tell you one thing... it's been nice being on the outside watching the implosion. The blast area hasn't cleared and the BDA is months away to fully calculate. I still have the opinion that it's too bad Leo let them do this.. he shouldn't have let them fill their egos. Now others are saying they are done... about a month too late, Winter IBT already took place. Now, if you'd all done this prior to IBT, the results would have been different - SLAP... ( thanks Zoe')... what was I saying... No they wouldn't...

With Leo being booted, dues raised, still no balanced budget, membership under 6000, and Gillete costing like it does, send the message home now... Do not go to International. If you're already signed up, write in a cancellation and request the rally fee back. How many do they need to break even - 700? Leave em at 500 or less and that'll send a VERY CLEAR message.

Now is the time to send a message.. with you $$$

Another year like last year and they can't survive.

Rob

My head hurts.
Is the title Airstream and Avion Owners Club in use by any incorporated entity?

The Airstream Inc. would have a problem with it. You could ask them to license it, but whether they would is something they'd have to answer. Whether their claim to the name as you propose it is available is best answered by an intellectual property lawyer.

Cs

How about "Club Silver" ?

Very clear, very unambiguous, very to the point. And it sounds good as reference initials too....."We're holding the 2010 CS Rally in......."

I like it

Now I was tossing around "Silver Spirit" but then that would leave out the Argosy owners.

they are silver under that paint. It is those motorhomes Airstream made and those baseless things that are not silver under the paint...

You guys are on a roll for sure!

4CU and possibly HOT has reported some pirate activitiy and as well as WDCU when Paul wore the patch carrying the unit colors. Something is definitely fomenting... bubble bubble...

Well, Club Aluminum sounds good too. But, I think CA is already taken by the guys living north of the Niagra Falls , not to mention our own Cali on the west coast.

I thought about the CS maybe hurting the Argosy guys' feelings, but I figured they were silver underneath so they were included no problem.

The pirate thing has some good mojo too though. Definitely on a roll here!

ricky i like loose rivets, we are free from oppression by the 'leaders' free to do as we please, camp,frolic......loose those binds
great ideas here. i like the boycot of the int'l. maybe we could have an informal 'loose rivets' get together sounds like fun

Another suggestion: Club AL (AL being the symbol for aluminum). Or Club 13 (periodic number).
