Many people sing many different songs. You sing the same song over and over too Ed. Your song actually sounds good to you.

If you don't like the song why not just unsubscribe? That way you don't have to listen.

Better yet, go on over to the forum your club has and sing there. All five of you will enjoy singing the same song. Maybe you could even sing in a round.

Another new Forum group has been started. This one in Ga.

About one new group every week or two. At this rate they'll be ones all across the US and Canada this year.

I think CrawfordGene was referring to this page here on Air: http://www.airforums.com/forums/club...s/list-by-name

Go to the top blue bar under Clubs & Groups.

I think you will find it under the Clubs & Groups heading at the top of the page.

I want to wish everybody a happy New Year,

and I would like to hear more about how things are progressing with the new club, rather than hearing more about the old club, which we already know too much about. Lets get on to the good stuff, already! Give us a reason to look forward to 2010. How is the new going to compete with the old? Will you pursue campground discounts for members? Organize caravans? Go nationwide? Let hear about it.
There's a lot to be considered, other than the internal problems of another club.

Depending on what happens at the mid winter rally, this may only be the beginning of the good-byes.

Now that's just MORE advertising

I like food photos better...........

AND you promised no more in 2010

Now Frank do it right, remove the numbers, polish over the ghosts and move on.

BTW I'm a good singer, but I sing a lot to myself, maybe you should do the same.

I expect I will stick around until the patient (WBCCI) either dies or shows signs of recovery. However if I were to leave I would just X out the numbers
with electric tape like Frank has done.
The newer numbers usually fall off in a couple years anyway.

it is vinyl film just like the numbers themselves. If anyone wants some, PM me and I will send you some for free.

If I remove them, I do move on.
If I leave them with a bar across them, I show my opposition.

They're my numbers, I paid for them, and I will do what I want to with them. Those numbers are part of the trailers history.

I think you will see many trailers running down the road before long looking just mine. Call it advertising, call it a opposition. I look at it as a grass roots movement.

Gene:

Their Georgia group web page is Facebook. I don't do Facebook or My space. I guess I will not be signing up. It sounds like it could be fun. All kinds of parks around Ga.

Post Advertise this!

Last year's IBT Rally cost the club $17,000 in reimbursable travel expenses so our officers could "serve" us.

In July, our leaders outdid themselves and served us to the tune of -$103,279.76.

But, hey, that was LAST year! Lessons were learned, adjustments made.
This year will be different. Trust me....

2010 FROG ROUNDUP IBT RALLY
Rayne, Louisiana
January 19 - 23, 2010

The WBCCI Frog Roundup IBT Rally will be held at the Rayne Civic Center, in Rayne, Louisiana. The majority of the rally sites
have full hookups. Rayne is the Frog Capital of the World, and has many interesting and historical sights to see in the area.

The rally fee includes a Wine & Cheese Reception on Tuesday evening, two catered dinners, three breakfasts, a social hour,
and an optional banquet on Saturday evening. There will be three nights of entertainment, which includes a Barber Shop Quartet
on Wednesday evening, a Cajun Band on Thursday evening, and the Bill Roza Duo on Saturday evening after the banquet.

Those who attended the Pelican State Rally this past March will remember the Bill Roza Duo. They played for our listening and dancing
pleasure and are very talented musicians. As this is Cajun country, you will find many fine restaurants in the local and surrounding
area. Friday is a free day, so you will be able to explore this part of Louisiana to your heart’s content. This Mid-Winter IBT is
open to all WBCCI members. (But only "quality" members may apply for reimbur$ement.) Plan to join us for a great rally in January at Rayne.

A barber shop quartet? What a hootenanny! Maybe they can get Hoagy Carmichael and Jack Teagarden impersonators too!

I can't believe I'm doing this I must have too much time on my hands or too much snow on the ground keeping me inside reading this stuff.

Please remind me. Didn't we just raise the dues from $55.00 to $65.00 within the last 5 years? So were's the beef?

Have we not been screaming where is the value for the dollar?

I'm watching several threads (again I can't believe I'm going there again. Don't tell my husband he'll divorce me.)

I just need to scream this out loud. Raising due for ANY reason during these times is a VERY BAD idea it has significant impact at the unit level.

IBT didn't lose when Rob et.al left. The UNIT lost!!!!!!!!! IBT does not care. I hate to see people so affected and blindsided by what the IBT does or does not do or see. I hate that it trickles down to have such impact at the Unit level like this.

Robin
I wonder what would happen if I did the kind of stuff I did in the 60-70's. I refuse to pay the increase pay the normal dues and as a silent protest attend my unit rally's anyway. I wonder if they'd have me?

HEY! Who is this Robin chick & how did she steal my() identity?!?

I() know I() said I() would compose an intelligent response to this thread back at post #344, but quite frankly, this sounds like a lot of what I've() heard before and I() could probably nix bits from 73 other posts, piece them together and make them say what I() was going to say anyway. Quite the run-on sentence, huh?
