While we were travelling a couple of weeks ago, it suddenly occurred to me that there is a simple, foolproof, perfectly agreeable method to determine what vehicles should be in an "Airstream" organization.
Submit it to 3rd party arbitration.
But not just any 3rd party. A 3rd party made up of 100 nine and ten year olds. If 2/3 of 3rd and 4th graders agree that a given vehicle should be considered an "airstream," I'll go along with it. Children are much better at this sort of discernment than all the lawyers in California, all the juries in Alabama, and all the thinkers in New England combined.
yes, because third graders wouldn't think something to death! also, they have no agenda! they would just vote and get on to more important things like recess. since our recess is travel and camping let's take a clue from the real decision-makers, kids!
Start a new club independent of the brain dead folks trying to pass this thing.
Just a thought!

Unlike WBCCI, we welcome potential Airstream owners. The Forums help interested people to make an informed decision as whether they really want an Airstream, and which Airstream that they want. The Forums also help Airstream novices get the most enjoyment from their Airstream. The Forums promote relationships amongst members through postings and rallies.
Maybe we (the Forums) already are the primary Airstream "Club".

You folks are brutal. The Mar & Apr Blue beret say it all. WBCCI is on an admitted membership decline.
The Jackson Center folks want to allow Brand "X" Thor motorhomes WBCCI membership because they don't make Airstream MH any more. Interesting because that same Thor MH has its own "club" for $50 a 3 year membership. Good Sams, Passport America, and others & get something in return.
Explaning "something in return": We learned the hard way and personnaly don't care for rally parking in dusty lots, noisey highways, or muddy fields. Indoor activities are fine but RVing is an outdoor sport. The lunchen buffets are of poor quality. We live in our unit for 3 months a year and very simply have found great locations.
Comments we have heard from uninterested 3rd parties are "the cult", "the circus at the edge of town" and "noses on their foreheads". Well the list goes on . . .
We prefer kick back and relax RVing and since WBCCI hardly offers this we are considering letting our membership expire.
