Caravan Club Numbers

Hey all
When someone retires from the club, does their member # also retire? Like an NHL hockey jersey? Just wondering, our new baby has a legible number cause it's shinier where the numbers used to be--when we join, can we resurrect that number or is that a no-no? Just thought it would be cool to bring that number back into use, or is it just given away to the next registrants?

Thanks

It depends. If they truely retire from the club, their number is usually held two years before it is reissued just in case they decide to rejoin. Then it is put back in the pool to be reassigned to someone new. You can call WBCCI and see if the number on your trailer is available, if not, whether it has been reassigned or dormant.

If the previous owner just sold their trailer but bought another one and is still in the club, then they keep their membership number. The membership number is per the member, not the trailer...a member may own multple trailers and they should all have the same mebership number on them, unless they purchase multiple memberships each year.
