Blue Beret

I am trying to figure out the delivery schedule for the Blue Beret.

Does anyone know the schedule?

Also, what condition is your magazine when it shows up?
Mine is typically tattered. I am wondering if it is my mail person or are the magazines tattered prior to departure from WBCCI.

I wish they would package them like some other magazines do.

mine too

Mine is sometimes ripped as well. It is still not the most exciting read so it doesn't bother me too much.

FWIW - Mine does come in good shape - imagine it depends on post office or mail person

Blue Beret

Maybe your postal carrier reads it during a coffee break!

Mine comes pre-shredded too. It hits the recycling bin pretty quick either way, so I don't mind too much.

Not too bad

Mine is usually in pretty good shape, but I don't read it much since I have no interest in trips of the length advertised there. I wish the focus would turn more to stories and such, more like the Good Sam rag, for instance.

Hmmm ... mine always show up in mint condition. I think I had a ripped cover once.

I'm not a WBCCI member yet ... so maybe the trashed copies are reserved for members.

By the way ... the article by that working stiff on page 9 this month wasn't too bad.

Shari,

You can actually subscribe to the Blue Beret for $25 without being a member. Info is in the fine print on page 2.

Schedule

The Blue Beret is published monthly, but not published at all for January or July.

Thumbs up Just for grins

qqq

Might give you a more rounded, worldly approach..

Are you ready for that?

ciao

FWIW, Mine usually comes in much better condition than some of my other magazines..Sunset is the ONLY one that "never" suffers any thumb prints, etc..

No Problemo with mine

My Blue Beret comes in satisfactory condition but I don't think it is worth a $25 subscription. I joined WBCCI as is required to subsequently join VAC and get their newsletter. Now that makes it worth it.

I agree.

I purchased a subscription while shopping for our Airstream so I could check out the used units and to see what the dealers were offering. For that reason ... it was worth it to us.

When I did subscribe, it came in the mail just fine. But as Davydd said and I'll agree, it wasn't (in most cases) worth the trees or recycled materials it took to print it.

Mine comes in various degrees of dismemberment. The latest one slipped through unscathed. I wonder what the cost of plastic bagging is? It doesn't project a good image when your magazine arrives with half the back cover missing.
