Attaching WBCCI numbers

I have two Holidays and looking to get another vintage airstream. I bought a clear shower curtain and attached one set of numbers then hung the shower curtain to the top with clear suction cups. Works OK but a hassle when it's wendy. I was told that you can get some kind of clear flexible plastic material that race car drivers use to put their graphics on the cars. They have to take them off and reapply them after repairs are made. Anybody know anything about this stuff?

Static-cling removable film

Wow, two Holidays! Those are rare birds you have there!

I am aware of the static cling film that you are talking about. WBCCI has a Blue Beret article about using it to apply your WBCCI numbers online here:

http://www.wbcci.org/documents/Phred...ept%202007.pdf

There are also a number of earlier threads on this subject on the forums.

I haven't used it myself--I just stuck the numbers directly on our trailers.

See you down the road,
Nuvi

Thanks Nuvi, Yeah I really lucked out on the Holidays, When I found the first one years ago, I couldn't find anything about them. Over a couple years with emails to practically everyone, the History came together and then I stumbled on the second one. Since then three or four more have appeared. If you're interested, check out my Holiday renovation web site wallybyamholiday.com
On the letters, I searched the forum but couldn't find anything. I guess I just didn't use the right words so thanks for the lead.
By the by, do you know how all these adds got attached to my post?

I know what you mean about searching the forums--I have had highly variable luck with the forum search feature.

Not sure what you mean about ads attached to your post. The forum supports itself by the sale of advertising which you see all over the page. For $20 a year you can become a contributing member of the forum which, among other things, cuts down on the number of ads that you see. Being a contributing member I may not be seeing the ads you are referring to.

Hey, I will check out your Byam Holiday web site. Thanks for the link!

Nuvi, look at this or is it too small to read. There are four different comercial links that follow my message and to me look like I'm posting them? They show up after my message but before my name?

That's weird. I see what you're talking when you attached the screen capture. But, in your original message, I don't see those ads.

Hmmm. they don't show up now? I just didn't want folks to think to I was putting adds in my posts? I contacted the static cling folks to get a price. Thanks for that lead.

Ads

Lanny,

Wow, that is weird. I have never seen anything like that before. You say it's gone now? Hope so. One does see weird things on the Internet now and then that don't repeat.
