So how about my number 8880. I wanted 8888 but settled!

Numbers On!
Here's a picture of how my numbers came out using a Decal from Squire Designs. They were $2.00 per letter plus shipping. Ask for the WBCCI Font, Color, and Size. I emailed michael@squierdesign.com to get the process started.
A little more expensive than the WBCCI supplied numbers, but a whole lot easier to apply. I had a similar decal on my 2007 Airstream, and when I sold it this year, that decal came off very easily with no adhesive residue or ghosting.
Proudly display your numbers! We all like to see them going down the road.

I picked up a new set of numbers from WBBCI headquarters today for my new trailer. Have not decided if I will put them on the trailer or plexiglass.

Nice trailer!
Like many topics, this one has some interesting debate :-)
I've seen one where smaller red numbers were placed on the rear bumper - I really liked that - got an earful when I asked about it :-)
I've seen them on the plexiglass and even on separate plexiglass squares attached to the window with suction cups to use for rallies and caravans and to remove for everything else.
I've come to like them on the traditional location myself but do what floats your boat!
Edit - by the way, we got our new set of numbers there too. How fun is that?? :-)

I tand to agree with you. I like them on the trailer. It makes for instant friends. Pretty sure that is what I will do.

Off topic here-
I cannot figure out how to pay my dues online.
Is sending a check the only way?
It seems like I paid online when I joined.

We re-joined on line at the first of the month ... paid by PayPal IIRC.

If you re-join do you request your current numbers?
I tried to call Headquarters- no answer-
I tried to call the lady in our unit who sent the bill- it was like someone picked up and immediately hung up-
I really don't have time to deal with this. There needs to be an online renewal process.

Our local group (4 Corners Unit) sends out the dues notice with the summer news letter. The international dues were/are $65 and the local unit dues doubled this year to $2.00 (yes, two dollars). I print out the the form from the newsletter as a pdf form and put it into a pdf editor and enter our details and then print out the updated form and mail it with a check for the unit dues to the unit treasurer.
We will keep the same WBCCI number as we are life members and our dues are paid up of life....
The office staff may just be getting back from the annual meeting in Gillette, WY. There are major staff personnel changes taking place at the same time.
There was a change at the national level to accept electronic payment for the national dues which will take some time to implement. Each unit will have to develop the handshaking to verify payments are in place at each level...

How come WBCCI doesn't send the red numbers all together on a wax paper backing?
It sure would be easier to apply one big thing than 4 little things.

How do you became a lifetime member? How much does it cost?
Questions for Deb Mann?

I think it's a sliding formula based on your age. Certainly a question for HQ or the Membership Chair.

Call Deb Mann for the forms that are needed. Or check on line here to download the form:
http://wbcci.org/club-information/ge...info-and-forms
You will have to supply copies of a government issued ID (driver's license, passport, birth certificate etc) to substantiate the birth dates of each person on the membership (Husband and wife or two folks, I think). They then apply an estimated life number crunching process to arrive at the cost. Based upon the current $65 a year fee, we need to live just over 22 years to break even.
However, these funds help support the club and after the acquisition costs to play in this arena (trailer plus tow vehicle plus accessories), it was a relative bargain.
We were aged 68 (me) and 64 at the time (May 2013) and have a 26 year life expectancy per their charts.

I've been considering this too, but don't want to hear how long they will think I'll live. :-)

They expect you live and still be Airstreaming/rallying/caravanning at age 90-94? I think that is very unrealistic. If I am still alive at that age I'm sure I will be too feeble to do much.

I had a man in my unit that was still on the road at 94, and doing a good job with it. Sadly, but probably for the best, he just recently gave up towing.

I really don't foresee me being on the road at 94- or even alive-
