The numbers would look better if they were half that size.

The number size was originally determined, so they could be read at a distance during caravans.

look like to me they need a tad bit more space between them. I have seen some of the 5 number, numbers and the spacing is too close to make them out from distance of median between interstates lanes.

look at billboard signs.. large letters with good spacing for easy readability.

My numbers from Squier Designs. Took about 10 minutes to do both ends. No measuring, no lines to draw. Easy and they look great.

Love the way they look Dave! Is this a special purchase from Squier Designs? Are these numbers smaller than the ones you get from WBCCI? Where do I find Squier Designs?
Thank you!

I think they're the same size or very close. I eMailed Rita Michael@SquierDesign.com and told them I wanted numbers for my AirStream. They knew the size and color. Paid with PayPal (I think) and had them two days later. I think they were about $34 with shipping.

We've decided not to apply the numbers since I was able to get the ghosted old numbering out during polishing. They'll be on some lexan salvaged after a window replacement.

However, if we do decide later to place numbers to the rig (as I would like), I'll get some from the local business sign place. The problem is that the numbers supplied by WBCCI are a bit too tall for the available space between window and running lights on the 67.

I kind of like the idea of converting them to vinyl and perhaps making the numbers slightly smaller.

Any Advice

I've read all the post in this forum on replacing WBCCI Numbers, however...My brother in law just purchased a Airstream and he called to tell me how it took him five or six hours to get the old numbers off. So before I take on the task of taking the old numbers off of my recently purchased Globetrotter, thought I'd ask if anyone has an easy way to handle this task.

You could join the WBCCI and request those numbers!!! No messy removed required.

But if you do want to remove them, a hair dryer or heat gun, plastic putty knife, will get them off, follow up with some goo-gone or WD-40.

Damon,

Good recruiting effort. I have enjoyed the club for 4 years and counting. As well as Airforums, all great people!

Squier Design Numbers

I am curious about these numbers. How do they stay on? Do you take them off when traveling and put them back on when you get to your destination? Would rain or the wind cause them to come off?
Sounds like an easy solution.

Thanks,
Rick
