I Vote for Moss for IP. This man has shown great leadership and common sense. He's not going to let this go away.

I am impressed with Moss too. And the other region presidents who are calling Schaffer and Beu out on what was agreed upon during the workshop discussion.

Perhaps we go a step further, Denver wanted all of that transferred to Delegates, which we are abolishing in favor of direct voting.

Its a different scenario and Denver will need to think about it.

If I were them, i would proceed as they are and see how it develops..

Can't Region 11 write a letter right now and certify the votes from his region????? And then Schaffer can write his little ditty, then the Schaffer recommendation and the amendment can then be sent to all units?

All the IBT has to do is Interpret that the CBL Report is NOT required before the Region Vote.

Thumbs down

Verb1.welch - cheat by avoiding payment of a gambling debt welsh
cheat, rip off, chisel - deprive somebody of something by deceit; "The con-man beat me out of $50"; "This salesman ripped us off!"; "we were cheated by their clever-sounding scheme"; "They chiseled me out of my money"

Apparently our IBT region persidents voted on moving Forrest's action forward regardless of technicalities and approved by the IP just days ago now being challenged by Don Shaffer, not surprisingly since he said he would not be forthcoming with the necessary recommendation to begin with. Usining the method to avoid intervention with IBT I find it contrary to need the IBT approve to move it forward.

The IP is now caving and AFTER a meeting with the rest of the IBT and getting a favorable vote to move on with it.

The IBT needs a motion to Interpret Section 3 only applies AFTER the Region Vote.

I mean no disrespect, but......

Doesn't Don Schaffer sound like the "Penquin" from the old Batman television program????

It would seem to me, if the push is going to be to vote in the changes to the Constitution there may not be much point in bringing forth any bylaw motions that go before the delegates until this is resolved.

Am I missing something?

More avenues for recognition. Give often and give freely. How will you rate, Wally's Gold, Airstream Silver or below? No really, this is for real.
