I know, I have to think twice when I write the date to make sure I don't continue to write '07!
I think it was Mel Brooks on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson that asked, "Do you think the early Chirstians hit themselves on the forehead and said, 'I'm still writing the year one on my checkes'?".

I voted against the ammendment, the poll was 5% for & 95% against.
If this ever passed, it will open the door for additional problems and many members will leave the club; some units may not have enough membership to sustain an existance. I just don't understand the thinking otherwise.
The rational would serve a few select members but in the short-run, it will hurt the rest of club.
Well, the message seems to be that if you have a motorhome and want to get something newer, get a trailer or GET OUT! Okay, I get it. I've already quit the WBCCI.

Does this mean you are trading your Airstream motor home for a newer SOB motorhome?
If not, then why are you quiting the WBCCI? You are still a qualified and, as far as I am concerned, a welcomed member of the WBCCI.
But, if you have or are going to trade for a new motorhome, let's look at your logic for a moment. If you were the owner of a Mandalay and a member of their brand specific club and decided to upgrade to a new Newell or Prevost motor coach, you would have to quit the Mandalay Club, wouldn't you? Likewise, if you owned a Newell and were a member of their brand specific club and decided to downsize to a Winnebago Vectra, you would have to quit the Newell brand specific club and join the Vectra Club to be in a brand specific club.
So what is the big deal about the WBCCI? You either have an Airstream/Argosy or you don't. If you decide to end your qualifications for membership, then you no longer meet the requirements for membership and should move on at that point, but not before and not with hard feelings.

Great response! Karma coming your way! Rick

If the WBCCI does ever vote to allow SOBs to join, I would not renew my WBCCI membership. Until that time, should it happen, I will continue to belong.

Starflyte1,
Alot of members say the same thing. If this amendment goes away then the focus should be to save WBCCI.
