1st WBCCI rally

Well I up and joined the South Carolina Coastal unit at a rally in my home town. It was a little chilly out by the beach, but it was tons of fun. Met lots of nice people, ate good food , and saw lots of nice A/S.I must have had 30 people ask to see my 1968 Ambassador, I believe they all thought it was in excellant condition. I have to publicly thank Ken Smilie for touting the club.I am in complete agreement with all that he said about the club, andhave already signed up for the state rally and 2 others next year. PJ

That's certainly good news. You are lucky to have an excellent local unit.

A Winter Blast

Wow, what a weekend.

I gotta tell you, I personally had a Blast! It was one of the best unit rallies I have been too and I can only think that they are going to get better and better..

That 68 Ambassador was Suhweeeeeet!

Why cant I ever run into a deal like that?

Good looking unit PJ.

Thanks for the attaboy and I hope that others will have the fortitude to come and witness for theirselves, the fun that the WBCCI and especially the SCCU has.

Just a a side note, the fun level that we attain is also due to attendance by many associate members from the Eastern North Carolina Unit and the Palmetto Unit. These folks travel a good distance to be a part of our family and to add to the comraderie.

Here is to the WBCCI.

Amen

I returned yesterday from co-hosting our Xmas rally at San Marcos. We had 46 folks for the Saturday dinner (a couple drove in) and I think everyone had a great time; I know my wife and I did.

The hosts fed the crowd for $7 a person including 2 breakfasts, a lunch, and a Holiday dinner of pork loin and all the trimmings. The hosts ended up with all kinds of food left over. No one could gripe about the cost.

WBCCI membership really adds to the pleasure of owning an Airstream.

anyone in region 4?

The unit director (?) from Mideastern Michigan called last night to see if I had any questions and if I received the invitation and copy of Blue Beret. I was wondering if anyone here on the forum was in a unit close to me in Lapeer Michigan?

The rallies and caravans sound like fun. I can hardly wait for weather a bit more mild to take our first trip.
