Eric,

Thanks, I'll try that. I didn't notice that. The picture was taken at Bill Thomas Camper Sales in Wentzville, Mo. as Jack noted.

sander17,

Hang in there! - you may get spring a little later than we do, but I'll take your summer weather over mine ANYTIME!

chuck,
The 4x4 has a tow rating of #8,750 with a GCWR of #14,000.

gklott,

No stability issues that I've noticed so far. The vehicle seems to have ample power so far. I guess we'll have to go to Mt. Vernon, IL for the real test (that's a joke). I did drive about 60 miles on the Interstate - passing and being passed - never had to fight to keep steady.

Thanks everyone.

Any new updates on how this HEMI is doing

hi cosmotini,
How is that Hemi doing? towing, daily driving, mpg etc. I want a towing rig.(big truck, diesel, Tim Taylor attitude) The wife wants an SUV 'cause she wants to graduate from a minivan but not have to wrestle an horse around. Could this be a compromise?

Thanks, Rod

Talking Congrats

What a thrill. You are in for a lot of great times.
We, alas, are selling ours. Turns out my husband isn't a camper after all.
I absolutely loved camping in our 2002 CCD. And, yes, your trailer is gorgeous! lol

$ for 22' CCD

Not sure whether your husband is for sale. ...... but FWIW the NADA "average" price for the 2002 22' CCD with spare tire and electric jack is about 25K. Now that's a real ballpark figure....esp if you have extras like the AV upgrade package and awning package, and xtra fantastic fan. And if you have added any other upgrades or improvements to your unit. Seriously, I've been thinking of selling my 2004 22' CCD, and upgrade to 28' CCD. No NADA prices out yet for this year, but am thinking it's worth $33-35K, since there's been 2 price increases on the 2005's already due to metal price increases!

Why do you both have to be on the West Coast? I'm looking for my first AS and want a 22 ft CCD. I can pay cash for a decent used one. I'll also have to buy a tow vehicle so at this point I think a new one is out of my range. If anyone closer wants to sell please send me a private message.

Offers?

If anyone can give me a good offer for a worn but good worker I'll listen.

Thanks,
Chris
