Happy Swimmer - must have been chilly but our girls don't care - they wanted their year end swim and they had the perfect sunny weather for it. I was amazed at the weather and they got 3 different swims in
Taz does not stay in long and you know it is cold when she spends a half hour rolling in the leaves to take the chill off
One of many 24/7 happy hours - of course when we were either not sleeping or paddling or "eating" boy did we eat.
So what is it with Airstreams and Food???????
Annie and Marvin arrived late Thursday afternoon with Costalotta - she is almost finished now and look gorgeous (for a painted lady snicker - Annie don't hit me please!
) The best of all was she was sporting all new awnings from their recent trip to Chicago earlier in the week.
What an impressive Rig! And even more of an impression was Annie broke the Rivette wannabe barrier and towed her nice Rig for the first time from the Camp all the way to Bancroft - BRAVO Annie I knew you could do it! - Now we can officially host a Canadian Rivette Rally.
They have their system down pat like seasoned Airstreamers - while Peter and I still have a huge communication gap going on
(consisting of Don;t tell me what to do!) and proceed to almost break off the rear stabilizer arms while hooking up to leave....humble pie is best served with a grateful kiss of appreciation) You see I did not want any help I said I got her there I will get her back home - all by myself.
The tongue was way down to get level on a unnoticeable slope.
Out for a nice morning stroll early Saturday morning to check out site #33 our fully intended site for next year!
And the view from the site was a bit nicer than the Vault toilets from my kitchen window in site 18
Annie and Marvin snuck across the lane to get a special left over desert while Peter almost dozed off in front of the fire.
