Thumbs up Should we buy ext warranty?

Hi all.

My wife and I just bought a 2005 CCD Int'l. We were trying to decide if we should buy the extended warranty on the CCD. Wanted to check with the 2002 owners if they had experienced any problems on their CCD after the 1 yr factory warranty expired (appliances, cabinets, wiring, anything) and approx. cost you spent fixing that issue(s). This would give us a better idea if we should spend the $ now on an extended warranty of if the quality control by AS is good enough that we do not have worry too much about it.

Thanks!

- Mike & Angela

Hi Mike...see the answer I left for you on your other thread:

http://www.airforums.com/forum...ad.php?t=15951

I also had a 2003 and the issues I found with it compared to a newer unit is night and day. You might find some interesting answers from 2003 owners vs. 2004 and/or 2005 owners.

Check out these threads to help guide you regarding overall issues:

In additon, if you do a search and enter quality, you will find even more threads talking about any possible issue to be aware of that might help shape your decision.

Warrenty

The factory warrenty is two (2) years.

No, I don't buy extended warrenties. Warrenties come with at least two layers of profit built in and all too often disapoint in the end (read the letters in the RV magazines). I have never regretted not having an extended warrenty.
