IMHO - In My Humble Opinion
SOB - Some Other brand
Toad - "Towed", a car towed behind a motorhome

Cool

Right now, I have the direct opposite. The fan never comes on. I looked for an inline fuse, but could not find one.

When it's below 85-90 degrees, the fridge works very well, but as it get to 85-90 it does start to warm up a bit.

I plan on taking my Bambi to the homecoming and already have an appointment for the factory to take a look a it and a few other things.

At some point, I may do the "John Irwin" mod if it is as loud as you all say, but for now, I'd just be happy for some cold beers when it's 90 degrees!

Inline fuse

Apparently, my refrigerator doesn't have the inline fuse. The fan does shut off when the battery disconnect is in "store" mode.

My fan does not come on at 85 degrees. The fins where the thermostat is mounted must be quite warm to the touch before the fan will come on. Once on, the fan will run until the fins are totally cooled down.

It wouldn't be hard to rig a switch behind the refrigerator to shut off the fan at high temperatures when the refrigerator is not being used.
