2005 international 28' cost new
Just bought a used 2005 28' international Pick it up Tuesday I'm really excited about working on it and making it ours. I am curious as to the price of it new? It comes with a Hensley hitch and a solar system I would like to change out the TV's and do somethings with the curtains and front sitting area? Thanks Wayne

Congratulations on finding your AS. It will be a lot of fun (and some work of course) transforming it.
Post some pictures when you get an opportunity. I love to see how you customize it to fit your needs!
Just curious what the asking price of it was if you don't mind sharing?
Thanks!

NADA shows the MSRP price on a 2005 28' International Signature as $55,613 without options.
Just think, a new one now is $93K!!!! That's around $30K increase in about 10-12 years.

Worked on the AS yesterday at the RV place Pick it up today The AS has a interesting history It never had water hooked up to it or the owner never hook water up ( used for sleeping while building their home ) so for 12 years no water When we hooked it up yesterday the water pump leaked They are changing that out this morning The fantastic fan in the rear doesn't work It has a wall controller with a thermostat The controller will not light up and the fan will not come on? Oh and during the power wash the rear fan leaked ? Any suggestions on the fan would be appreciated The Hensley hitch is eating me up but I'll learn it excited to bring it home today VICKI named her "Betsy"

Yup the caps are about $10 each.
You will need to replace those tires too, especially if they are older Goodyear marathons that have been sitting. A tire tread separation on an airstream can easily cause $5,000 - $10,000 in damage. Don't take any chances with the old tires.
Goodyear Endurance are the new replacement tires you would want - same size, much better tire.
Enjoy!
