hi seabee'
it's difficult to get exact dates because of overlapping and upgrades.
and the issue of stripes vs solid colors and classics vs other models.
in THIS decade the red/burgundy was used part of the classic "limited" upgrade package which included LOTS of stuff like hickory woodwork.
this was true UNTIL 2007,
when the option package was dropped and ALL classics were labeled classic limiteds, but went back to blue striped awnings.
the recently labled DWR version of the bambi has a BRIGHTER RED for the awning, consistent with the dwr branding palate.
and LIMITED upgrades from
way back years often came with BROWN/chocolate striped awnings.
sunbrella supplies the fabric to zip dee.
one may SPECIAL ORDER any of the 100s of sunbrella colors or patterns for a new trailer.
it's a special upgrade and will cost extra but can be done.
current owners can also order REPLACEMENT fabric from z/d in any of the colors or patterns...
visit the z/d website or the sunbrella site and check out the options...
here are some useful threads on this issue, WITH color options.
