1993 Sovereign 21'

We just purchased a 1993 Sovereign 21 and brought it through customs from Surrey B.C. to Seattle, WA. We hope to have as many adventures with our Airstream as we have had with our sailboat over the past couple of decades.

Sweet! Looks like it just rolled out of the factory, from the photo.

Will you post more of it, both inside and out?

Oh, and welcome to airforums.com!

Very nice looking AS. Congratulations on your purchase and your first post.

We are going on a trip to a state park this weekend and will take more pictures. All of the systems work well. There is some oxidation on the roof and the carpet has been replaced with wood laminate flooring. It has had two previous owners, both in Canada. It has been lightly used and well maintained.

A beauty!

Welcome and hope you enjoy your Sovereign as much as we enjoy ours. Yours looks brand new! Ours has spent its life outside in the New Mexico sun. We have some issues with the clear coat, normal for its age. The previous owner covered it with a tarp over the winter. Turns out both ceiling vents and oven vent leaked. Leaks are fixed now, tarp marks and clear coat will be dealt with at the Restoration Rally here in ABQ in June. :-) The inside was like-new.

I'd love to see more pictures, so I know what to aim for on the exterior!

Ahhh great flooring in your Sovereign. Thanks for the pics. Our two projects for the Restoration Rally are the outside skin and getting rid of the carpet. Do you know what floor material you have in your AS?

The flooring is one of the floating (not nailed or glued) laminates similar to "Pergo". We have it in our floating home and it has held up well for the past 15 years.

A little help. Have a friend that has a 93 21' Sovereign and needs to replace the original tail lignt bulb. The number on the bulb is no longer visable. Any suggestions as to how to determine the number? Thanks

replacements

If the bulb has 2 contacts it is an 1157. A single contact an 1156. Replacements with much more light are the 2357LL and the 2356LL.

We had a 96 21' Sovereign. We loved it and used it for 8 years. We also had problems with the clear coat on the top. We also changed out the carpet for laminate flooring. That was a big improvement! Hope you have a great time with yours.
