It's not THAT old

Not to be picky, but I will

Although you have a fine looking coach, a 1985 Airstream is not a "Vintage" Airstream as your site indicates.

I think the reference is specific to the 1985 Sovereign area...Great looking trailer! Love those lights over the dining area.

Great ideas with the sovereign, however we have just added TomW's web site to our favorites. I have finally found a picture of what my bathroom is supposed to look like and what pieces are missing on the kitchen cabinet over the oven. Great pics, great site. Thanks Tom.

Twins! An excellent example of an original '85 Sovereign with corner bed. Exactly like I suppose our coach once was, sans the interior decorating, of course. It would be interesting to know just how many units with that floorplan were made.

I say "suppose" because it must have been some time since ours looked that good when we got it. It brings back memories that had already started to fade: those useless galley and bath sinks, now history, thank goodness. The counter space consumed entirely, as in the photo, by a single square box of tissues. The tambour in the lounge and bedroom. That extraordinary plaid upholstery.

The bed looks odd to me as we have always used it the other way around. I know the factory plan was to sleep with the head at the tail of the coach, but a PO had removed that narrow credenza along the back to gain room for his 6' 3" frame and without that it just seems more natural to sleep the other way around. By the way, with the back credenza removed you can step around that end to ease making up the bed.

The tambour credenzas front and rear were in too rough a shape to save so I built new ones more in the pattern of the Excella models. I also did a total re-think of the galley. See my photos at http://www.airforums.com/photo...500/ppuser/139 , if interested.
