Hi WC,

Kay and I also hope you will stay, but understand if you don't. If you don't, then hopefully you'll check in once in awhile as a lurker and see what's up.

Fair winds and following seas,
MC

Also WC, You should note that this thread has three times the views and twice the posts as the thread about self protection. Don't be bullied off the forums.

Chris, you are a definite asset to these forums. I for one have found your posts to be of great value. I hope you will reconsider or that the administrater's of the boards can figure out who should really be leaving!! Send me a pm with your email address prior to leaving, please.

Thanks for the pm, Chris. I understand your concern and your reaction. Hopefully you'll find a resolution and be able to continue to post the progress on your restoration. It has been of such great value to many of us. As your friend, I hope you find a resolution so that you have some peace of mind.

Don't leave!

Don't let anyone push you out. It has been so valuable to see what you are doing and benefit from your willingness to share what you are doing to your AS. If you go, they win and that is what people think works. Don't let it work.
I hope you reconsider,
Sandy

Goodbye and safe journeys to everyone.
I tried to send you a PM, but apparently that function has been shut off too. Dear Chris, please REJOIN with a different user name, then if you wish, PM your friends letting them in on your reincarnation... or perhaps rein-AIR-nation.

I'M BACK.
Thanks to everyone for your support and kind words of encouragement.

A short note to the person responsible for the threatening phone calls. Go ahead and call again the police and the phone company and now prepared to find out who you are and if you call again I WILL PROSECUTE.

I will have a post soon to update my progress on the trailer.

Let's try this again and see what happens.
The A/C shroud is installed on the roof now. I had to fabricate new mounts for the fan and fan guard. I used all stainless steel hardware (bolts, washers and nuts).
I ordered rubber grommets for a different brand of A/C. The grommets are used as vibration isolators for mounting the fan. They are a little bit smaller but work just fine.
Anyone with the original Armstrong A/C will know that there is a 15" square hole in the top of the shroud to allow the fan to vent air. The problem is that the hole in the top allows all kinds of debris to collect inside the A/C. I had a local window and door shop fabricate a window screen the exact size and attached it to the top of the shroud. It fits perfectly and sits right on top of the fan guard. I painted the screen to match.
I had the shroud painted in as close a color to aluminium as possible and used a pinstripe in A/S blue.

Propane Lines

This is some more progress. I got the main 1/2" gas lines cut, flared. bent and installed. There will be seven gas appliances in my new set up.
1) Catylitic Heater
2) Stove & Oven
3) Furnace
4) Fridge
5) Gas light
6) Water Heater
7) Generator.
The main line runs down the curbside of the trailer from the tongue along the A-frame and has to curve around the stabilizer jack. At the forward edge of the water tank it Tee's and crosses over to roadside to go to the fridge and gas light. Next in line is the Tee's for Cat heater,Stove and Furnace. The line continues along the curbside above the axles to the last Tee at the water heater and then crosses back over to the roadside to the last fitting for the generator.
I won't be attaching the 3/8" lines to the appliances until the final install of the appliances themselves.
