NADA says it has a high book of $15260.
Airstreams almost ALWAYS sell for more than high book.
Assuming it's in good shape it's probably worth $17-19,000.
I paid $21,500 for my 30' Excella 3 months ago and it had a high book of $19,500 at the time. I passed up several trailers priced $8-10,000 over high book.

About 16 months ago, I purchased my '97 - 25 for $15,800 from a SOB dealer in south Texas.

Kneel on his wind pipe. If he don't sell for what you want, walk. There are TONs of 25 footers from 2005 still on the lot. Why would I buy his when I can spend another 13k and get a spanking new one? well, a safari anyway. I think that's way too high, Classic, Excella, whatever, given the current economic situation of $2.13 average per gallon of gas.

Ayrstrm2, I agree and thought it was too high after looking at NADA values and taking into consideration that the smaller Airstreams seem to bring more. Still, I wanted to get some opinions. There are a lot of 2005 25' still on dealers lots, and I'm sure they'll be glad to unload them when the 2006's hit the streets, which I believe is happening now.

yeah, I'm trying to somehow convince my wife and myself to get a 2005 25 Safari FB SE that we've seen, pretty cheap. Dunno, I just bought a fat new tow vehicle so that might be too much to swallow at once...
