wallpaper / wallboard

Ok if you don't like the pattern on this kitchen/bathroom area, is it best to paint it? Or is it better to try to recover it with wallpaper????

hi sluggo...

paint works, but clean it first REALLY well.

a think sheet of laminate can be glued over it too and trimmed to fit nicely...

wall paper will not hold well to that wall board, unless it's vinyl and spray glue is used...

We had our 96 professionally re-wallpapered last year and have not had a problem. It is nice to to see the ugly factory wall board covered with something that suits our tastes...
We did use a commerical grade paper, and relied on the installer to use the correct glue etc. knowing that heat builds up inside during summer months.
