Has anyone stolen anything off your Excell-ah?
I think I read once where someone stole tank covers from the LP tanks.
What can I do to prevent theft?
I do not see a place to lock these.
Advice most wanted- before it is too late!

I've not lost anything off the Airstream. I have however lost bumper end caps and aluminum airplane wheel chocks from my SOB when I was camping in Pirate Land campground in Myrtle Beach SC.

I know it was some folks next to me who had neither on their trailer. They pulled out just after we went out to mail some letters at the post office. Got back and immediately noticed things were gone. Pretty low life as far as I was concerned.

The only other theft I have ever had in 32 years of camping was some racoons who opened my cooler in my tenting days. Lost all of our left over ribs from the previous nights dinner. They left the bones on the ground.

I've never had a problem, but when I was at JC, I bought some locks and locked the fridge vent door and the battery box. But to be honest, if someone wants something, they're gonna get it, plain and simple.

What size cam lock did you need for the Fridge cover? I think the battery cover uses a 5/8 can lock based on this thread.

I'll have to check. I think the were the same diameter, but I think I used the slide blade strait off the fridge vent door knob and popped it on the new 5/8 cam.

Personally, I would use a very basic lock setup. I would rather if someone was determined to steal something, they would just take it and not damage the trailer by taking it. The exception is the deadbolt on the main entry door, by the time they manage to break open the front door, I will have enough warning to greet them with a suprise.
