Mouse fur

Never have had to deal with it. Heard stories about the glue failure resulting in hanging bubbles of fur. Good to replace it.
The 89 and 93 have the bonded colored aluminum, some printed with a floral design. Some people paint it but we just keep it clean. After twenty five years some aluminum rot has bubbled up too.
Good luck with the Renovation.

We are starting to restore an 84 model. Do you have any photos to share? Thanks

We have a '92 Excella 1000, just purchased in Vancouver (Canada) last October. We're in the process of converting it from almost-original to an office and guest suite. The exterior was in very good condition. Once we started the demolition, it became clear that the previous owners had covered up some problems with cosmetic fixes (ie: laminate flooring over a rotting sub-floor, and a serious rodent problem).

She's starting to take shape now: dated 90s furniture and cabinetry out, walls painted, new lighting, new flooring going in. Just built a barn-wood desk yesterday. She's stationary though, hard-wired to our house's electrical.
