Bedroom Cabinets in '90 25' Excella

It appears that cabinets may have been removed from above the foot of the twin beds in our '90 25' Excella. Were there cabinets there stock from the factory? And if so, can someone provide pictures?

Thanks,
Poppy

Not where I can take a picture of it. Our 88 twin bed Excella has a cabinet about 12 inches wide that hangs over the foot of each bed. About 18" clearance over the bed so your feet are under the cabinet. Cabinets have a hanger pole for short hanging space.

Thanks for the response Bill. Can you tell me how deep the cabinets are? I assume they're flush to the ceiling and the outside wall? Are they oak and are they open or do they have doors?

I can measure ours for you if you'd like . We have a set of oak locker cabinets ( the ones which hang from the ceiling/top if the wall) we removed when we built our bunks. They are oak. They were in our 1989 Excella.

But I'm not sure these are the cabinets you are talking about!

Hi Skatiero...

Thanks for your reply. Those sound like the ones that were originally in my trailer. I would love to have dimensions and pictures. And I would be interested in buying them if you aren't going to keep them.

Will not be in that trailer until April. Cabinets are the same brown oak doors and trim as in the rest of the trailer. The cabinets are not quite as deep as the bathroom and closet walls that they are mounted against. . Set back maybe 4 to 6 inches. The exposed side is the same laminated particleboard as the rest of the bullkhead walls. Fairly useful cabinets. Not in the way of sleeping. They sure do dig into your back if you forget and sit on the bed too far down that way though.

Here are pictures of the bedroom cabinets in mine. I only have the streetside ones because mine has been converted to a double, although it came from factory as rear twins.Click image for larger version

Here is what I did with one of the removed cabinets: repurposed it to a nightstand by turning it on its side.Click image for larger version
