Thanks! They were part of seating that I had on hand in my home theater. Turned out to the perfect size and color - and I love the leather smell. Here's another picture with the table stowed (hadn't patched the floor yet):

We have a 1993 25 foot Excella with rear twin beds. We purchased it in April and have put in more work into then anticipated. Rotted floors under the beds made us take out the back portion of flooring. Water poured down the sides through the rivets when it rained. We have sealed up the sides, used eternabond on the roof to cover seams and rivets and hopefully will finish in a month or so. We also had the furniture reupholstered by an Amish man for under 400 dollars and he did an excellent job!

We are looking at a 1992 25 ft Excella, we have been looking for over a year and the ones we have looked at all had some floor rot, does anyone have any idea what sort of cost is involved to replace the bedroom floor, and is it possible to DIY.
We have a 2014 Silverado 1500 that were going to use as a tow vehicle, do you think that is big enough..

My wife and I did it ourselves and I would say it cost a hundred for the wood, 20 dollars for a quart of POR15, another ten for the original screws from the vintage airstream parts place (can't remember the name offhand) . It took some time to get the old wood out of the c-channel, but it can be done.

Sounds like exactly what happened to me. But it cost me over $300 in material and 3 weeks of full-time effort with my wife helping to fix the subfloor. The main expense was two sheets of 3/4" (couldn't get 5/8") marine-grade plywood at $100 a sheet. Plus a couple of sheets of rigid-foam insulation for the bottom of the subfloor. As mentioned, getting all the OSB out of the C-channel was a time consuming pain. Even worse was getting the new plywood installed. Cardboard templets had to be made and since 3/4' plywood wouldn't fit into the C-channel, the edges of the plywood had to be routered with a bevel to fit. Then I had to cut the plywood into a mosaic since I couldn't get the bigger pieces into place. All this was very time consuming. Plus sanding and painting the frame of course, and re-caulking the outside of the trailer.

I recently purchased a 92 Excella 25' with rear double bed. All of the cabinets appear to be original except for a plywood panel attached just above the floor under the range. Please see my 3/21 new owner post. Does yours have a return air grill here to provide an air flow for the furnace blower? Thanks. Curt

I just purchased a 25' Center bath, rear twins. Excella 1991

It does need axles, and tires otherwise in pretty decent shape. The P.O. had an AS dealer install disc brakes in 2007. When I am ready to tackle the axles, I'll start a thread about it.

One thing I do need for it is, a rear bedroom side window sash. Measures 22" X 18-1/4" on outside of aluminum frame around glass. I have a parts inquiry into AS in Ohio. I stumbled across info for Colaw salvage, will give them a call.

I am really happy with the purchase, and am enjoying learning about it.

Painted my bath right over the wall paper with a shower & bath paint from Home Depot.Took several hot showers & no problem.Looks great.Used fusion spray paint for all the plastic.
Have a question for you. How does your fridge work in the heat of the day?Mine drops in temp quite a bit. 50-55 degrees.
I have the exact same unit you have.

Hi Ray...

Thanks for the input. I've removed the wallpaper from the shower and most of the bath and have started painting.

Our refrigerator works very well. Switches from propane to electric seamlessly and cools well. Make sure your venting is clear.

My fridge rises in temp when it gets above 85 outside.In the 90's it gets to 55 in the fridge.I did check rear venting & installed a fan towards the vent.Helped some.

The batteries are in the front but in order to provide for the tilt backs the recliners sit well in front of them.
