1992 excella

My husban and I looked at a 1992 excella today, the dealer said it was 30 foot, but it seems so much larger than my 27' overlander. Does any body know about these and what is a good price? Also what are the pro's & cons of a center bath verses a rear bath?

I need all the advise I can get.

Thanks Mary

welcome to the forum mary!

just a guess, but i'd bet you are looking at a 29 footer.

i have one and like it alot! the center bath is nice because you can divide the trailer in two. both the rear divider and the bathroom door can be used for privacy. real nice feature when camping with the guys or two couples.

any questions in particular, feel free to private message me!

here is a pic of mine.

John... Looking at your AS it seems the axel should be further back to be proportioned right. I've noticed this on some other AS. How does it handle in traffic and the bounces.

how does it handle?

quite well! most of the heavy stuff is forward of the axles. the only appliance aft of the axles is the water heater.

have towed it at 75 for many miles with no problems.

Overland, did you purchase the '92 Excella? We have a '92, 29' and love it. Can't wait to go out during the Christmas - New Years break. Love that Airstream way of life! Looking forward to many more trips in the future.

Side bath.
No need to go trough the bedroom to use the bathroom.
Enough space in the bedroom to get a decent bed in , side bedroom the bed's are to short.
