What's it Worth 1977 25/27ft land yacht

There is a trailer for sale locally and it is a 1977 25/27ft land yacht. Length is not clear in the add. They are asking ~$8000 and it appears to be in good shape. Did a lot of rv'ing growing up but know very little about airstreams. What should I look out for?? I will be pulling with a 2004 F150 with full towing setup. Thanks for the help.

First, welcome to the forums.
Now, the trailer you are looking at should be ready to go, with very little in the way of repairs needed to go camping this weekend, for that price. Some things to look for, is axle condition, tire age and condition (dry rot), as well as the proper type (ST) and load range (D). Also check for soft areas in the floor, as this would indicate a leak into the trailer. Check to make sure everything works on the trailer, lights, both inside and out, fridge, stove, oven, water and sewer system, and A/C and furnace. Check to make sure that it does not have any structural damage, usually evidenced by rear end sag, or a gap between the top of the frame rails at the rear by the bumper, and the body of the trailer.
A search of a thread called "so you want to buy an Airstream that's 3 states away?" may find you someone in your area that would be willing to check it over for you. If you have any more questions, you can perform a search by subject by using the drop-down search bar in the blue area near the top of your screen, under your user ID. Good luck with it, hopefully it will need nothing, and we will see you camping in it this weekend.
