The trip to the PO begins...

We had some delays but the time is finally at hand! DH Brad left this morning to pick up the Airstream. He has 700 miles to go and a full day's driving today. In the morning he will put the dual cam parts onto the A-frame and begin the journey home. I don't expect him home until Thursday light. Meanwhile I am sitting home with the pets, a' wishing and a' hoping, a' thinking and a' praying, planning and a' dreaming! The weather is in the 30s and party sunny. Life is very good!

That's the seller and her dog. He sat next to me on the couch. At 185 pounds he can sit with his rear end on the couch and his legs on the floor. When he stretches out for a tummy rub he was longer than the couch and pretty well filled the entire area. I was more than a little sure not to make any sudden moves with a head and jaws twice the size you might expect, but he is really very sweet and friendly...THANK HEAVENS.

It was hunting season so Yogi wears a man's shirt to be distinguished from the deer in the area.

Isn't there supposed to be a keg of brandy?

Beautiful dog.

Yay!!

We wish Brad God's speed on this trip. I hope that he has an easy journey and an easy time of the hitch install.
Just clarifying for all of you. That is NOT Carol in the picture, but it is the PO of the Airstream that now belongs to Carol. The doggie is not Carol's doggie either. Both of Carol's doggies are way cuter! And Carol is too! LOL

I know! But to put the two dogs and cat in the car for the long trip just seemed too much trouble without bringing a trailer there with us! See Airstreams make you spoiled! LOL I originally was worried if the weather changed I wouldn't make it back in time for work. I was coming real close to wanting to drill those holes myself so I could go and leave Brad at home with the fur babies.

Oh, sorry, I was looking at the dog, not at the human with him. 185 lbs!!?? WOW, that's a lot of dog!

My name is pronounced just like that dog's, except that it starts with an "Oh" sound.

So, what model of AS are you actually getting? And do you plan to house and feed the both of them?

Oh, wait, I get it: one TT is just to house your animal friends!
