Where have all the outlets gone - 2003 Classic.

We have a 2003 25ft classic. The wiring diagram in the owners manual has 2 110v outlets on the road side in front of the couch and another between the couch and door on the curb side. However there are no outlets forward of the kitchen area. Am I missing something? Where are you supposed to plug in the tv or anything else.
Thanks!
Dave

Hi, maybe I can help you; I think your floor plan is about the same as my Safari.

(1.) Look inside of your Credenza.

(2.) With Credenza removed, [for remodel] you can see on the left, one 120 volt outlet, one 12 volt outlet, one antenna booster, and one phone conection.

(3.) Between my arm rest and magazine rack is the other 120 volt outlet. Yours should have a reading table here. Maybe you have to open your reading table to gain access. Note: This outlet has a polarity tester and a night light plugged into it. [makes it harder to see in picture]

Dave, besides the ones mentioned, there is one by the door close to the floor by the stove. Another by the sink, to the left of the window. One in the bathroom area on the right wall. In the bedroom there is the one to the right as you go in that is below the closet and the other one is to the left on the left side of the window.

Thanks! It is like geocaching in a trailer!

Andrew; I will check behind the curtains. We really haven’t had them open since we bought it a few weeks ago. I didn’t even think to look there because “who would put an outlet behind curtains!

Bob; I looked in the credenza. All I found was the cable/sat in and out hook ups. No power (120v/12v) what so ever. I also checked in the armrests and behind the drop down tables on both sides.

Julia and Bob; I found all of those. As a matter of fact I use the one in front of the stove to plug into for the tv my laptop. I just don’t like the wires running all over the place. Just my luck I would get up to get something to drink and bring my laptop and the TV crashing down !

When I get home today, I am going to go on another search for the outlets. It looks as though the only place I haven’t checked is behind the blinds…..

Dave

That is where I found two missing outlets in my trailer.

This should help. The third shot is the one in the bedroom.

I solved my outlet location problem by plugging in strip outlets, one only needed a foot to allow me to reach, one is 3 ft to make it accessible to copilot, one to multiply outlets, in electronics cabinet. I found one outlet in clothes cabinet along with a telephone jack I knew was somewhere inside, when I found its mate in the outside storage area took a few weeks to find it ;-)

Son of a...... I would have never thought to look there. Well, that is until I tripped over the extension cord pulling the TV of the credenza, snagging the drapes on the way down and ripping them off the bulkhead!

So how did you mount your LCD? Sorry about all the dumb questions. I joined a local air stream group and we were supposed to head out this week end for 4 days. Which I had hoped to spend looking through every one else set up and asking them dumb questions while I plied them with adult beverages... However, they canceled it.
