I have the 2005 specs and they match Richard's for 2003
6,050 UBW (listed without options!)
870 for the hitch weight
The difference I see by 2005 anyway is that the GVWR went up to 8,000
so don't know how much you could add in cargo to the 2004.
I really suspect they weigh more than the charts. The hitch weight is one of the heaviest on the 25' but tows great. We towed with an Expedition leaving the spare tire off and not filling the water full and weighed in, packed for a month at 13,500 combined vehicle weight, if that helps at all. I think the Expedition weighed in the neighborhood of 5530-5600# without passengers and cargo.
Thanks. I am looking a used 25' Classic and want to make sure I have enough tow capacity. The ad lists the GVWR, but not the dry weight. I never travel with water and really take few belongings. My F-150 will tow 8,800 lbs (has 20" wheels), I have should have plenty of reserve tow capacity. Don't like towing to close to my TV's capacity.
Thanks again!

Paul,
Just an FYI, I tow an '01 25' Excella which is about the same weight as you are talking about with an '07 GMC Sierra 1/2 ton (7800 towing capacity), and have no problems.
