Underside damage truck tire tread - 2004 Classic

In April, while driving in heavy city traffic, we ran over a piece of tire tread lost by a big truck. Couldn't avoid it. Was doing 55 or so. Hit it with the truck and the trailer.

That appears to be the source of several things.
- broken off fresh water tank pitcock
- bent front curb stabalizer shaft

It may be the cause of the lower door hinge pin rising out while driving. After driving to San Diego 2 weeks ago, I noticed the beginning of a front curb tire wear pattern similar to what yoiu might see on an out-of-balance tire. Am having the shocks and tire looked at carefully for damage. The other tires look fine.

Wonder if that could have also been the cause of the steps damage we noticed?

Any other suggestions on what to look for?

OY!
Road gators will do a number on stuff. Since you have so many probale oall on the same side It had to be the tire. Check the bell pan and make sure it's still riveted on good. On the older coaches if the rivets in the center fail the pan will move a lot as air goes under it and the ends of the out riggers will wear through the belly. It looks awful.

Sounds like you have the rest covered.
