Photos of new A/S - 2005 Classic

I am late on posting these photos as I promised. We have had our 2007 34' SO for about a month now and are really enjoying it!

If you notice the difference in the bathroom, this is because our dealer does a modification that removes the door to the toliet to open up the entire bathroom area.

Nice coach you got there. Where is it parked? I assume that is an RV resort where you own the camp site.

Way cool! Love the fixtures, screen door, awning. I'm attaching two photos you may be interested in re your eu3000.

Beautiful coach. Best of luck with it. Since it is the ultimate Airstream, I guess that makes it the ultimate travel trailer.

Absolutely enviable. The cabinets and table top are just gorgeous. Bet our 20' Safari could fit inside, too !

LOVE that 34!!!!

TowDaddy/ Jeff -

LOVE that 34!!!!!

Yours is awesome!!! Really love that 34 room and space.... and you have plenty!

I have an 'older' 34 and absolutely love the room, the F/R wrap arounds and all the storage.... Having that front AND rear space is really the ultimate. Period!!!!

Having that in an AS is, well, just bonus! Good for you, and for me.

What is your TV? Happy with it? Any thoughts?

Enjoy that AS and all the good times!

Thank-you for posting the pictures. The trailer is beautiful, I love the wood on the cabinets. Now you only have 26 years to wait until it becomes vintage.

Towdaddy, very nice trailer! I especially like the wood cabinets and the details in the bathroom. Hey Towdaddy, take care and also invest in a decent "coupler lock" for that trailer of yours. You don't want some dirtbag trying to drive off with that beauty.

Thanks on Congrats

Hi to all,
Mrs. Towdaddy(Vickie) here...Thanks to all the gracious well wishes on our new "home away from home". We have found that this is the perfect trailer for our needs. Jeff and I have two special needs children. Our son, 26, is more independent and is not along with us on every outing. Our daughter,21, was born with Spina Bifida and is in a wheelchair. Our 05 30' Safari would not accomodate the wheelchair which resulted in us doing a lot of lifting. The new 07 34' SO Classic is wonderful for the wheelchair. We found ramps that telescope and have a combined weight of 17#. Danielle can now be independent inside the AS. Her favorite is, sitting at the sofa table in the wheelchair (faces the front) while doing activities or watching DVD's on her portable DVD player. This allows her to have a clear view of what is happening outside the AS. She is even able to get to the pantry and refrigerator to make her cereal in the morning. She loves this and so do we!

Unfortunately, since we went to the 34' it will not be able to go home. We have a very steep and sharp-curved driveway. The 30' was a challenge especially since I had to back it all the up our driveway from the cul-de-sac below. This was very tricky there are steep drop-offs on both sides. We knew this when we bought the 34' but being able to get the wheelchair inside was more important. Betty Lou II is at our favorite campground. Yes, Minnie's Mate she is parked on a seasonal campsite. It is River Ridge RV Resort. She will be stored on site through the winter. We plan to purchase a coupler lock in the next couple of weeks, Streamer1. This will be a precaution due to security gates and security personnel. Drag'nwagon, this RV Resort is great for kids. It has a nice playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, olympic size pool, game room, weekend activities for kids (sometimes for adults, too), and excercise room. It is located on the Muskegon River with a store and Marina. The Marina store will deliver firewood and pizza to the sites. There is also a Mancino's a couple of miles from the campground that also delivers. This resort rents nightly, weekly, monthly, seasonal and sells. If anyone is interested you can go to www.riverridgeresort.com to check it out. There has only been four other AS in this resort other than us. Any and all come on up.

CaddyGrn (Mrs. NorCal) we have had "Betty Lou II" only a month now. We hope to take a vacation to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan next fall or I'm hopeful that we will get the Women's Rally organized for next spring or summer. We plan to take other excursions in the near future until Jeff retires which will be 15 years or so.

SilverToy all electronics are Sony. Nilesrob (Brad) thanks so much for the pictures of your eu3000. I'm sure Jeff may want to respond to you on this.

As we all have to do...Get what works for us and makes us happy! Thanks for the info and encouragement. If we can return the favor, just ask.

Mrs. Towdaddy (Vickie)

Nice Rig!

Very nice, we should be picking up our 2007 25' SE tomorrow. We have been waiting 2 months. We can't sleep just thinking about her.

Congrats Silversub

I know exactly what you mean about being so excited that you could not sleep. I did the same thing. No one can understand what you're talking about until they experience it for themselves. Congratulations and welcome to the Airstream family. Please give us an update and photos when possible.

Towdaddy. A sweet 34'. Is the TV in the bedroom a factory option for the 07's? Looks good. What sign screeen is it?

Thanks and followup

Thanks to all for their comments. I always get excited when people get new stuff - almost as excited at they are so I really appreciate all the comments. It is great to share with this community.

Some additional followup to questions in addition to the comments Vickie has already posted.

The TV in the bedroom is a 15" LCD and was an option. The one in the front is a 19". All the electronics are Sony and are the optional upgrade. The premium upgrade gets you the JVC components. We had the JVC in our Safari and I really don't believe it is worth the extra money. The only issue I have had is the audio input from the CD changer is way too loud. I plan to have the dealer adjust this. We did pop for the optional wireless outside speaker. This is a weather resistant dome shaped speaker. I transfer my XM radio to the inside of the AS and play it through the radio. We can then listen to XM outside. If you like, you can order two, set up one as right and one as left and have stereo outside. As we are set up now, we run the single one as mono.

On the advice of Stream1529, we did add the second airconditioner. We plan to travel back to the deep South again and he advised us to get it now rather than wait. Good advice.

River Ridge is a great RV park. Nightly rates run the same as similar parks in our area during the Memorial day-Labor day period. This is on the Muskegon River/Hardy Lake and we have camped on this lake for about 10 years.

Another great park on this side of the Michigan is Hidden Ridge near Shelbyville, Michigan. The KOA in Petosky is also another great park. You should check out www. campgroundreviews.com. Great site with reviews from other RV owners.
