Question Need info on brakes for 34' 2006 SO

HELP!
we just purchased a new Checy Durmax 3/4 Crew cab pickup and the next day drive 6 hours to look at our new now 2006 Classic 34' so. Of course we have pulled four different as and didn't figure on any problems. I have been told by the seller that he had the Tru-tow by Hensley added to his vehicle. I just can't believe that the trailer package that came with this new truck, can't be adjusted to work the brakes on this trailer!!! of course this is from a woman's view point. But does anyone know if its just a wire change surely all you as know some trick of the trade to work. THANKS in ADVANCE

so it would appear the truck has the ge'em integrated brake controller?

and the trailer was purchased from a private party, not a dealer....

haven't seen any reports of compatibility (good or bad) between the disc brake package and the ge'em brake controller...

as suggested HERE, contact actibrake, or ge'em or a/s customer support for some guidance....

We have experienced problems with the 2006 GM controllers and the 2006 Acti brake electric/hydraulic braking system. I believe we disabled the GM system and installed the Prodigy Controller after contact with both manufacturers.

I guess it is like trying to load a Mac program on a Window based machine.
