HELP wanted - automatic transfer switch location.

I recently bought a lovely 2005 Classic 30 SO and have installed a 160w solar charging system. We are now adding an inverter-charger.

I decided to go with the new Go Power IC 2000 which has an excellent set of installation instructions and diagrams which I now have to adapt to the physical layout of the trailer and furnishings.

Can anyone tell me exactly where the automatic transfer switch is located in our 2005 Classic 30 SO? I am thinking I will need to get at it to do my inverter installation, using the (presumed) existing cable which runs from the generator plug-in up front to the rear bedroom where the main AC panel is located, where I will route it from the inverter AC output to a sub-panel for those appliances which will be powered by the inverter. There is no ATS in the main breaker box. The ATS is shown on the wiring schematic I obtained from AS, but the diagram does not tell me its exact location. Can anyone out there tell me where I can locate this switch? (and hence the cable that I want to get at)

I don't expect you to trust this info as I don't myself. However I have a memory of someone telling me that the transfer switch was behind the exterior 115 generator input socket which on our 2010 Classic 31 was on the left front. I believe it is accessed by removing the socket. I am sure if you call airstream customer service, they will tell you.

Thanks for your suggestion. I tried calling airstream but they were quite unhelpful on this point. Fortunately today I was able to find the ATS myself. My shore power enters at the roadside rear of the trailer and in the rear of the trailer there is a large storage area under the main bed accessed through a fairly large drop-down door. On the inside left of this area is a drop down door behind which, voila, there is the ATS! The three wires were clearly labelled - "main" "generator" and "panel" so I think this piece of the puzzle is solved. I think I will remove the ATS - it will not be needed with the new solar/inverter/charger setup as the IC 2000 has a built in ATS - and replace it with a junction box to make the connections needed - I plan to first disconnect and then use the wire from the up front generator input as my AC out from the inverter and run a short wire up through the bedside cabinet to a new sub-panel to be installed beside the main breaker panel.
