Thumbs up Order processing for '04 Safari SS!!

The deal is in the process of being inked! We are shortly to be Safari Six Sleeper owners.

The Bambi will be traded in, and we expect an early to mid-December delivery date based on the current work log Jackson Center has given me this afternoon.

We purchased the following options:
Spice Trader
Safari upgrade package
Ultrafake leather
15k BTU A/C unit with the comfort control found in the Classic line

The next two and a half months are going to be LONG ones! Brandi and I are beside ourselves in anticipation!

Wow, it's really going to be nice! Does it have the "L" shaped couch?

Hope it don't snow!

I opted for the standard couch with credenza. I figured I will most likely get more use out of the credenza than the extra few feet of couch.

As for the snow, I'm hoping mother nature will be as kind this winter as she was last winter to the midwest. If not, we'll just have to time it when we pick it up.

Snow tire option...

Well, congrats Eric & Brandi!

Did you get the snow tire option? You're gonna need 'em!

Serves you right for getting to buy ANOTHER brand new one!

We're all jealous!

Maybe you should cut all of your trees down before you bring it home!

Just a thought!

Twinky...you are not even kidding!

Rog, getting a new one, was less of a hassle than stripping the parts off yours and putin em on the Bambi!

C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Wow, that's great news!
Sorry you didn't get to sell your bambi privately, we had to trade our 22' in and it was not a good deal...

Thanks!

Sorry, here's the skinny...

Spice Trader is an interior fabric scheme it also includes some dinette lighting from the Classic line I was told. I've got the fabric samples of Spice Trader, but have yet to see the lighting. For me, I just liked the Spice Trader fabrics more that spellbound, Amarillo or Strats. Status was my least favorite of all.....

The Ultraleather is for the front couch material. Kind of leather like......

Safari upgrade package includes:

fantastic fan (front)

black flush system

electric front jack

aquajet pump

LED cast alum tail lights

spare tire

13.5k BTU upgrade (from the standard 11k BTU unit)--I upgraded further for $200 to get the 15k BTU unit and the Classic comfort control system which controls both the A/C and the furnace from one thermostat on the wall.

door screen guards

one touch galley faucet with seperate sprayer

2 caps and 2 jackets

As for the trade in, I got exactly what I paid for the Bambi in February of this year. True, I didn't get near the 18% but out of 3 dealers, one would not even touch the deal with a 10 foot pole, the other would not come down the $1000 to get near this dealer. I might have been able to do a bit better, but I would have most likely had to drive across country and I was trying to stick in the midwest.

You have just so much mailbox space and PMs you have sent are archived in that space. Go to the PM page and click on the "jump to folder" drop down list to see all your sent mail. Delete the sent mail and you will have plenty of mailbox space again.

Hey Eric.

You know, just because I kissed, fondled and caressed your Bambi at the rv show last winter, doesn't mean that you could have just disinfected it rather than buy a whole new one....

Really, congratulations on the new home....

Did you procure from R and R again??? We are talking with Rick about a 19' CCD Bambi, which so happens they had a delivery of one just last Thursday.

Love and Kisses.

Jonathan

Jonathan,

Thanks...there were a few folks around here that had been in this particular Bambi!

I actually did talk with Rick again and decided that I would go elsewhere for several reasons that I'll share with you if you're interested via PM.

I can say first hand that it pays to shop around. As a result, I'll be adding 6 hours of total drive time to get my new coach, however the cost savings to me was well worth it!

Thanks!

Jack Canavera also just ordered a 30' Classic slde out! Looks as if our Safari SS and he and Patty's Classic SO might be built in line near each other.

Looks like there will be a few new coaches at the next Midwest Rally!

Speaking of which, I am seriously considering trying to weave the Mackinaw thing into my trip to Pictured Rock up in Munising. I know it's a bit early to really start this whole converstation, but I may be up that way in early to mid July.
