Where is the battery isolator?

Can anyone tell me where the battery isolator is located on a 2006 AI? Mine is a middle bath with chassis battery under the hood and house battery is behind left rear tire.
I've looked and looked and can't seem to find it. I am assuming a bad isolator as I am no longer getting a charge to my house battery. Thanks in advance.

Under the driver’s seat at the back of the pedestal.

Don’t remove the seat. Just the cushion.

While you’re there check that the connections are tight on the terminal post and the small circuit breaker. The terminals on the circuit breaker are severely undersized and the nut came loose on ours making our house power intermittent.

Ours had the house battery under the passenger seat so your mileage may vary.

Ok, I have verified that my battery Isolator is working. When the engine is running my swich by the sliding door turns on and everything works. I have
Verified that I am getting 14+ charging volts to the outlet at the antenna switch and to obviously to the twelve volt distribution panel. I am not however getting any charge to my house battery. The latching solinoid works perfect with engine running but does nothing when the engine is off. My house battery shows 12.7 volts. I also plugged into shore power and got no change to the house battery. I'm stumped, anyone ever have a similar problem that can steer me in the right direction? I have checked all fuses, connections and battery cables.

Look downstream of the battery isolator. There should be a cheap $3 resettable thermal breaker with #10 or smaller threadded terminals. It’s undersized for the job. There could be a loose connection.

Also try disconnecting the house battery and starting up the van and measuring the voltage on the positive house battery cable. You should see at least 13.8v. Then turn on some house loads and measure the voltage again. If there is a big drop, you have some significant resistance (loose cable) somewhere between your alternator and house battery. You may need to do this a couple times b/c Mercedes typically drops the voltage a couple minutes after startup.
