Water hookup, 2014 AI

Hello. I'm suspicious of hooking up to the campground water line after doing so for the first time and then within minutes finding a leak that ran a small amount of water under the bathroom that trickled into the hallway. I had always used the water pump in the past and chose to refill the fresh water tank. I never had any leaks until we hooked up the water. Any other experiences like this? Or probably just coincidence? Thanks!

It might be a water pressure issue.

I find it much simpler to fill my fresh water tank as needed, rather than hooking up to water, anyway.

Not all the on/off with the connectors.l.too tight, not tight enough and leaking, etc.

Not sure if your year has a built in pressure regulator, but it's always a good idea to use a high quality external regulator at the campground spigot just to make sure their pressure doesn't overwhelm your onboard systems.

Probably should search out the leak since even the relatively low pressure of the on-board pump could be enuf to cause the leak to seep gradually and over time cause some undesirable effects.
Glass half full or half empty to an engineer is simply a glass that was over designed.

PM me for sale info on my 2011. SOLD!

My 2014 had a similar leak it was the hose that connects to the bathroom faucet. On the outside wall of the bathroom there is a removable panel. Take out the screws and tighten the connections. You'll either feel the connection wet or see it dripping.
