Water dripping under coach

Is it normal for water to drip from under coach ? 2016 AI Grand Tour. On camping trip and noticed water dripping from 2 areas on drivers side. May be coming from refrigerator but not sure.

Unlikely to be the refrigerator.

When I bought my used coach, the outside shower had cracked on the dealer's lot because it was not properly winterized. Once that was fixed, I had no more drips under the coach.

Possibly low point drain valves not totally closed.

If it's drivers side about half way back it could be coming from your macerator/sewer hose area. This happened to me and they replaced the skinny dump hose as well as the larger hose that feeds into the macerator. I felt pretty paranoid with my uncontrolled and unauthorized release of offending fluids.

If you don't find the source via the usual suspects (freeze damage at macerator or outdoor shower fixture), check the ABS piping connections to the black and gray tanks. Water dripping underneath was our first indication that we had plumbing line separations (see pic near the top of this blog post).

Were you running your AC? Could be from the condensation tube.

Haven’t used AC. No bad smell from water. Little water in outside shower box.

Is there a shut off valve for the outside shower.

There WAS NOT on ours, but ours is an older model year than yours. We added our own because the outside shower is right on top of our electrical system and we were concerned about the possibility of a catastrophe arising from a leak in those line segments. I wanted to get rid of that shower entirely, but my husband did not. Hence the compromise of adding isolation valves.

If you peer under your cabinetry near where the outside shower penetrates the wall, you may be able to see ball valve levers or some other mechanical device in your lines.

Thanks. I’m just going to turn water off for now on campground and turn back on when needed later. Hope that takes care of situation until we get back home. We did have freeze and snow above average in South Carolina last month.

H2 overflow

The Grand Tour has the unit bathroom on the driver's side.

There have been many instances of the unit bath sink drain shearing off near the drain basket.

On mine, the sink drain water dripped down to the ground. (some seeped into the aisle way}

If this occurs when you’re hooked up to city water, you should check the pressure valve (which is the part the hose is connected to) on the inside. They have a tendency to leak. If you have a GT it may be tricky to locate it.

Our drip was the connections at the water pump.

Check your connections at the water pump (behind the cabinet drawer). That was the source or our drip on the driver's side.

On the Grand Tour, the water pump is behind the little panel under the freezer.

While you're under there, might as well check the filter screen after you shut off the little valves and quick-disconnect the fitting to the pump. Mine was plugged with debris and now I'll check it at least 2x per year.
