Using the TV in a 2014.5

Should I be able to use the televisions on battery power or while I am driving? I'm having trouble turning them on but my batteries are 100%. I don't have electricity hookup at my house and I don't want to turn on the generator just to try the TV (noise might upset my neighbors) I didn't video the TV demo and I am feeling like an idiot! Help 😁

When the coach batteries are enabled with the switch by the door, you can toggle on and off the inverter from the on button on the Magnum control in the overhead locker. When the inverter is on, a small green light will come on. Then you can use the TVs. Don't leave the inverter on when not required since it uses the coach batteries.

The antenna amplifier in the compartment over the driver's seat needs to be on as well, unless you're playing DVDs. As with the inverter, don't leave the amplifier on when you're not using it.

You also will need to run the auto program feature to get the most channels if you are not hooking up to cable. Do this every time you are at a new location.

Inverter on *and* you need to plug your TV into the Blue marked plugs that are connected to inverter.

Your TV might by default be plugged into the standard (shore power) 120V outlets.

Nope. No blue outlets. The televisions are plugged into dedicated inverter-powered outlets, though, and the televisions can be used while the vehicle is in motion.

Open the left hand sliding cabinet door on the cabinet above the driver's seat, and peer inside with a flashlight on the wall on the left. You should see wires and antenna cables and a white box with a button on it. Press the button, and with the coach batteries enabled, a green light will come on. This is only for the antenna amplifier and not for use when cable TV is connected.

It's in the locker over the driver's head. It's a little push button that sticks out. It is on when it's pushed in and a LED will lite. It will be off when the house batteries are off even w/ the switch in the On position.

Edit: Beat me by just a little bit.

Also, when you run the setup function on each TV, make sure it is set to "Air" and not "Cable".

Jackie - the TV booster is in overhead cabinet above driver's head. It's mounted on the outside wall inside this cabinet and looks like attached page from owners manual.

That pup looks mighty comfy. Perfect place for him to watch tv. Congratulations on getting the TV running. My guy never got ours to work on our maiden voyage and I was ok with that :-) I think he has it figured out for the next trip.
