Ultra leather cleaning help
Had an open ball point pen mark up the front seat yesterday and I'm not sure what to use to try to clean it. As I understand it, the seats are basically plastic based and I'm afraid of ruining them by using the wrong product.
Any tips?

Typically rubbing alcohol takes out ink. I've used it on leather car seats, and assume it would be ok with Ultraleather, but try it on the back of a cushion first.

I would simply replace the Ultra with something more practical.... I never understood that choice of material in a "Travel Trailer"...

We had a woven fabric in our 2007 Airstream, and now Ultraleather in this one. The Ultraleather is easier to clean, is cleaner, feels much nicer, looks better, and doesn't collect dust nor send dust into the air when sitting down. After 12 total months of daily use, it still looks like new. That's our reasons for liking it.

Ultraleather is probably one of the best materials for a trailer. We had reupholstered cushions with it in our Argosy. Easy to wipe up, has a nice "hand" to it, looks good. It's used in industrial settings like dentist chairs, so it should be pretty practical.
Redoing the cushions in Ultraleather will probably be one of the inevitable upgrades to the trailer - after this year's repair/upgrade bill becomes a distant memory, of course...

"Simply" replace? Just throw out the $2k of upgraded fabric, so simple.
Ultra leather is awesome.

I have used Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom cleaner for leather, vinyl, cloth and carpet on Ferrari's and Lamborghini's for 25 years.
Do a small test spot first in a hidden area.
I always have a can on hand.

Southwest Airlines new planes and the refurbished ones are all ultra leather due to how well they wear compared to leather. I love the way it looks and feels but our fabric still looks great!

We also love our UltraLeather. We've had our Interstate 6 years and travelled 130,000 miles. Cleans easily, very comfy, impervious to dog. Love it.
We use ArmorAll leather cleaner routinely on ours. I don't know if it would take out an ink mark, but would contact the manufacturers perhaps for that.
Let us know what works.

I LOVE the ultra leather. We usually travel with 2 dogs and a parrot. The ultra leather cleans up better than any cloth upholstery!
Try Fantastic or Formula 409 for stubborn stains.

I had a limousine business and most of my cars had leather. I had a leather repair guy tell me to use diluted windex followed up with lemon pledge to keep the leather clean and protected. I tried it on the ultra leather in my new to me classic limited, and it worked great for what it's worth...

Thanks for all the great advice. Especially the link to the tip on the manufacture's site. I feel silly I didn't think to check there first. They had a sectional especially focusing on how to remove pen ink.
(They recommend alcohol followed by wiping with water, then air dry btw)
