Does the air conditioning system work appropriately to cool those in the back seat? Any other thoughts or experiences to share? With 6 adults, you would have 1 riding the jump seat. I personally would not want to be the one chosen to ride sideways for 800 miles. My wife and daughter think the rear seat/lounge/bed is very comfortable in short travel mode. Not sure yet long distance.
Only had our 2018 for a week and done 400 miles of multiple short trips. The VB Air makes a big difference in comfort. And even at that, it does not ride like a MB S-class sedan. So imagine if you did not have VB Air.
We have the Lounge 9-seater and I felt like in order to cool down the rear, the front passenger & driver will end up being very cold. Fortunately, I like it better on the very cold side and wife and daughter and grandson like it better on the warm side. So I get the whole entire front cab to myself
We also intend to use our AI mostly as a big family people mover and part of family staying in hotels at destinations, since it can only sleep 2 to 3 adults at most.
