When I first read about it, it struck me as being like a Diaper Genie for adults (without the actual diapers). Now, it's been a number of years since I've changed an average of seven diapers per day, but I will say that the original Genies did not live up to their odor-free hype. Not even remotely. The problem was that, in order to get any lifespan whatsoever out of the cartridges, they had to make the encapsulating plastic really thin, or else it would be too bulky, and one would spend an inordinate amount of time changing (expensive) cartridges. Hopefully for the sake of consumers, they have solved that problem in analogous devices by this time.
