Aaaand then there's the continuing issue of this champagne that is reportedly in Vermont. This is not a sales strategy that I've seen before, but I'm not up to speed on the latest and greatest eBay methods. Both listings are live - I've clicked them. But if someone were a serious watcher, why would they choose to watch the one listed with a higher price...?

Interesting it doesn’t have the side/wheel well skirts and steps. I don’t recall that main colour.

Looks in good shape.

I’m wondering about the “ambulance package shocks”. Couldn’t find anything on that. Wish the owner would post up about his vehicle.

LOL - I never noticed that. It doesn't have Airstream's bumpers either - neither front nor rear. To my knowledge, Airstream never produced any that looked like that (other than the champagne color - yes, that is original).

OK, so I totally spaced on the ground effects, but I DID notice right away that this one has its insignia in the wrong place. I don't know what on earth to attribute that to. Here's a grab below comparing it to mine, where I've put our WBCCI numbers under our insignia. Obviously there's no space for that on this one for sale.

Odd. Did the Airstream tradesmen not have a ladder handy that day, or was this done after the fact? Brand trivia. Not important unless it were to perhaps indicate that a damage repair was done at some point.

This is my AI for sale. The original owner put Monroe gas shocks on the unit, with a stiffer setting on the front for steering control and softer on the rear for comfort. The sales receipt noted "ambulance package." That's about all I know but they continue to work well, as intended.

As far as the placement of the Airstream logo, I cannot say why. The lettering is raised metal and definitely not just paint. No previous accidents, for sure!

Thanks for the reply. Did you update the screens or was that already done?

Good luck with the sale, it should go fast.

I saw a 2013 (as I remember) in Mesa with 199,000 miles on it. This was a couple months ago. Ended up buying 2015 with 21,000 in Spokane, WA.

Thanks. I did the update as well as replaced the velcro with better coverage. I sandwiched 1/16" ABS sheet to recreate the reinforced hole for the opener knobs, leaving some of the extra screening to help seal out a recurring path for small bugs. Thanks again.

Thanks. I did the update myself, replacing the Velcro to get complete coverage and sandwiched 1/16" ABS plastic to make the reinforced area smaller then left the screening inside the hole to eliminate a path for more persistent bugs. Works well!

I see you are a mind reader as well! That’s exactly where I was going with my question.

FYI, Our lettering is just like the one for sale. Ours is actually a 2007, but no way to pick that option in the drop down menu.

That ones going to need a lot of work. What’s up with the toilet? There is a piece of material behind the toilet with screws into the wall.

That is an odd place for the toilet paper... previous owners must have been contortionists

And some metal work is required...

Yes, that type of corrosion is not uncommon among the T1Ns, although I've never seen as bad an example as that (we have one or two small areas that we haven't fixed yet). It has its origins in sloppy work done by Airstream. They cut the body and never re-sealed the metal.

OK, let's get down to basics! What is a "T1N"?
