Sold My 2018 Airstream Interstate Grand Tour

Everyone on this board is the GREATEST. You all have to know this. When ever I had an issue, I posted it and someone knew the answer. Examples like the step did not come out, the Air Conditioning did not come on, the light over the sink in the cabinet did not come on. Literally anything that went wrong.

Now I just sold my unit. Some asked me why? It was to have the additional cash to build my new townhome. I sold it for a very fair price much less then a dealer would have sold it for. The person who bought it was thrilled. I spent 6 hours going through how to best use the unit and I created a list of short cuts and does/do not. When was the last time a Dealer took that kind of time or detail.

I won't be on this board for a time, so I just wanted everyone to know. You made my ownership experience much better knowing you were always here for me and others. Thank you and happy trails.

Best of luck. Do you have your do's & don't list in a format you can share? I'm considering letting my daughter and son-in-law use my motor home but don't think they will want to allow time for a 6 hour tour. But I'm obsessing about making such a list in an attempt to prevent them inadvertently damaging something on the unit.

I would be happy too do that. I have Three documents. First, a two page document I wrote for my family before I ever let them in my RV. Second, a master checklist I wrote when I personally inspected my RV prior to final payment and Three, the 5 page document I gave and went over with the new buyer.

Please tell me how to get these to you and I will do so. My pleasure.

Gary,

Read your post with interest as we just purchased a 2015 Lounge with 8000 miles on it. Not a good story as the previous owner died of cancer and a friend of his was selling it for his wife. So needless to say his friend knew nothing about the Lounge and we are struggling with how to do many things and would really appreciate your checklists to help us get up to speed.

If you could send them to me I would really appreciate the information.

Unfortunately I am getting this message when trying to send a personal message.

Due to abuse by spammers, new members are not allowed to send links in their private messages until they have become trusted members.

Could you send me a PM that i could replay to.

Sorry to see you leave the AI family!
Any chance you could post your documents for all to learn from?
