So I went to my Airstream dealer and......

met a fellow forum member. Total chance meeting with Boxster1971 at Colonial Airstream in Lakewood, NJ.

Both our rigs were in for some warranty and propane regulator recall work.

I have come to the conclusion that us Interstate owner are like the race track guys I know so well. Once we start talking all we talk about is our plans, rigs, problems and solutions we just keep on talking.

It was a sincere surprise and pleasure to meet you Mike.

I would be up for a national AI meet somewhere mid America. Maybe we can start with a CA meet and expand from there?

Tiato - it was instead great meeting you today at Colonial!! You're right we could talk for hours being car, bike and Interstate guys.

Regarding an AI get together -- I think we would do better joining forces to attend one or both of the already established annual SprinterFest events. This year SprinterFest-West was held in April at Upscale Automotive, the Sprinter Store folks, in Tualatin, Oregon. SprinterFest-East was held last Saturday at Sun Motors Mercedes in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

I met fellow Airforum member "ben322" at SprinterFest-East last Saturday. Ben and I are both also active on the Sprinter-Source Forum. I highly recommend it for anyone who owns the Interstate as it is Sprinter after all.

Check it out if you are not already a member. Lots of good Sprinter advice and help there.

Boxter1971, I didn't know about the Sprinter Fest. Too bad I missed it last month. And you're right, we should combine the meeting. I'll be sure to put next years' meeting on my calendar.
